We’re launching merch. And they’re NFTs.

Gallery has always been community-first in the way we build and grow. We believe the best way to create a lasting and sustainable platform is to embed our users in our processes as much as possible. From your favorite band’s concert tees to your go-to brand’s water bottles and tote bags, merch has always been a powerful way to express the things you’re passionate about.

Naturally, we want to give our community ways to connect with each other and share their love of our brand. We have already distributed merch to a few core members, and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive – both IRL and online.

Why NFTs?

Merch is a powerful way for you to represent the communities you’re a part of in real life. Everyone loves wearing a shirt for their favorite artist, restaurant, or community. But with a physical t-shirt, you only get to share that with the people who see you in person. You might get a single comment from someone as you walk down the street, if you’re lucky.

Similarly, the digital goods you own online are expressions of your taste, interests, and identity. But with objects you own online, you can share that indefinitely in your Gallery which has the global reach of the internet from day one. This offers an easier path to finding others who share similar passions around the globe.

By having your merch represented as an NFT that grants you the physical object, you get to express your love for Gallery both IRL and online - and reap the rewards of both.

Gallery Objects

Introducing our very first merch collection: (OBJECTS).

We’re launching with 3 items:

• Object 001. The T-Shirt. 500 available @ .05 ETH.
• Object 002. The Hat. 200 available @ .06 ETH.
• Object 003. The Membership Card. 200 available @ .08 ETH.

The Gallery Team will reserve 50 of each to give out at our discretion. Each item will be available for pre-order as an NFT, which can then be redeemed for the physical item. The NFT will not be burned but rather marked as redeemed and become non-transferable.

Drop Schedule

The drop will take place in tiers, with access opening to Premium Gallery Members first on Friday, August 19 at 12PM ET, as well as our 10 most active Discord users over the past month. They will have 24 hours to shop. Next, access opens to all members of Gallery, on Saturday, August 20 at 12PM ET who also have a 24 hour window. Finally, the store will open to the public on Sunday, August 21 at 12PM ET.

Purchase Limitations

Max 3 purchases per wallet per object. For example, you can get 3 hats, 3 cards, and 3 shirts. You cannot get more than 3 of any given item. Additionally, we are setting a collection-wide cap on purchases within the first 24 hours (when exclusively Premium Members have access). A maximum of 150 t-shirts, 50 hats, and 50 cards can be purchased in this time frame.

Snapshot

To ensure fair play, Premium Membership checks will be done in advance via snapshot, so last minute purchases of membership cards will not influence eligibility.

Redeeming for the physical object

As this is a pre-order, you will not be able to redeem the physical item immediately. The redemption flow will be available in Fall 2022 when our fulfillment process is ready.

Redemption

Each (OBJECTS) NFT will be redeemable for 1 corresponding physical object. (i.e. Shirt NFT → physical shirt)

You will need to have the NFT in your wallet when redeeming the physical object.

Shipping

Shipping cost and any import duties (if applicable) are not included in the ETH price of each NFT, and will be calculated according to your shipping destination at the time of redemption.

Sizes

T-Shirts will be available in S, M, L, and XL, and you will be able to select a size when redeeming the NFT for the physical object. In order to shorten the time between pre-order and shipment, we have already produced the merch objects, which means we have a limited quantity of each size in stock. Therefore, we cannot guarantee sizes for the T-Shirt. There is a possibility that the size you want will be out of stock when you redeem your NFT.

The Hat is one-size-fits-all.

Future (OBJECTS)

This is just the first Gallery merch collection. In the future, we will be releasing more objects, and we want to reward those who buy into our first merch drop with something cool. So, holding all 3 objects from this collection will put you into a raffle to be airdropped OBJECT 004.

How do I get one?

This Friday at 12PM ET, the store will go live for Premium Membership cardholders. Then all Gallery members Saturday, and the public Sunday.
